Draftsman (Civil / MEP / Healthcare Projects)

Alcon Technologies delivers medical gas pipeline systems, modular operation theatres, and sterilization and CSSD projects for hospitals and medical colleges across Pakistan. We are looking for a draftsman to prepare accurate drawings that our site teams and clients can build from.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare layouts, shop drawings and as-built drawings for medical gas pipelines, AVSU and terminal units, OT and CSSD layouts, and related services
  • Convert consultant and architect drawings into working drawings
  • Update drawings after site changes and revisions, and keep a clear revision record
  • Prepare material take-offs and quantity lists from drawings for estimating and quotations
  • Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to resolve drawing queries
  • Keep drawing files organised, named correctly and backed up

Requirements

  • Diploma or Associate Engineer (DAE) in Mechanical, Civil or Architectural Technology, or a bachelor's degree
  • Fresh or 1 year of drafting experience, preferably in MEP, HVAC or hospital projects
  • Strong command of AutoCAD (Revit is a plus)
  • Ability to read architectural and MEP drawings
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines

Office Coordinator (Documentation & Quotations, Biomedical Equipment)

  • Full-time, on-site
We supply and install biomedical equipment and hospital infrastructure. We need an organised coordinator to prepare quotations and tender documents, and to keep our project records in order.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations, price comparisons and costing sheets in Excel and Word
  • Prepare tender and bidding documents, including technical and financial submissions
  • Collect supplier quotes, specifications and catalogues, and follow up for missing information
  • Maintain files for quotations, purchase orders, contracts, delivery and warranty records
  • Prepare compliance and submittal documents, certificates and handover files
  • Coordinate with the sales, projects and accounts teams on deadlines and follow-ups
  • Handle correspondence with clients, suppliers and consultants

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Biomedical or a related field
  • 1-2 years in office coordination, sales support or documentation, preferably with medical equipment or tenders
  • Strong command of MS Excel and MS Word, with good English drafting skills
  • Familiarity with PPRA tendering is a plus
  • Well organised, accurate with numbers, and able to manage several deadlines
